How long will it take to see results?
My least favorite words are "it depends" and although that could be an easy out for me to say I want to be very clear. I always recommend you start a course or a book or any type of training looking to find 3 or 4 or 5 great ideas you can immediately apply to your personal sales situation. If you focus on doing just a few things better or differently and you accept that it may take multiple iterations to see different outcomes, you should start to see different results in a couple to a few weeks. If you are looking for a 'get successful quick' scheme or solution then my courses are probably not for you.
I have seen similar stuff out there - what makes this different?
Great question; there are lots of other great books and programs out there. What I focus on is based on my belief that 'You cannot control your results but you can control the Actionable Activities that lead to results'. I teach you what those Actionable Activities are and how to master them so you get the results you deserve. Every lesson I produce, regardless of how long it is, ends with a Take Action Plan which gets you thinking and acting on what you have just learned.
What if I don't have time to focus on this right now?
Many years ago I literally woke up in the middle of the night and wrote down this long quote
If you are not prepared to give up what you've got to get what you really want
You will just have to keep what you've got whether you like it or not!
I hope you really think about that for a minute. It is sort of my version of the definition of Insanity which is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. The really good news is that with the exception of my Sales Mastery Series which are 40-50 minutes long, all my courses are organized into small bites of 4-10 minutes each. You get to work at your own pace, on your own time and repeat specific lessons or segments as often as you want. Remember you eat an elephant one bite at a time!
Will it be a good fit for me?
I absolutely believe that my Fundamental Sales Course and Alphabet Sales Series will fit any sales person in any sales role. The lessons provide you the foundation you need to improve your core selling skills. The Sales Mastery Series will examine more complex topics and not all of them will apply to everyone but there will be many to choose from. And consider that as you develop and grow in your sales career you will likely change roles and responsibilities and some things you learn now will apply then.
